He hasn't been to the park since the pandemic closed the border with Canada, but even after the border re-opened, he's been at home in Winnipeg to care for his mother, Helen. She used to come with him to Yellowstone every once in a while, a number of us have met her and she's a lovely person. Helen is in good health but has lost her eyesight due to old age so she's not able to be independent any more.
