Bryce Canyon really is calendar country. I have only hiked off the rim a couple of times, but getting down amongst the Hoodoos is great fun and provides unique views. Glad you enjoyed Capitol Reef. It is not my favorite and because of this I suffer considerable abuse from friends in Torrey. It may be like Norris (an acquired taste). I have enjoyed the reports from your trip and am with Mrs. Stick in abandoning the Angels Landing hike at Scout. If you do this you get the wonderful Walter's Wiggles and then don't have to suffer the acrophobic exposure of "The Chain." Keep roaming and keep posting.
