and it seems like the Memorial Day weekend is not towards the very end of May like I wish. Some folks like to use that holiday as part of their time in Yellowstone, either at the beginning or ending of their trip. I do remember early June as being great in the park, too. We could do either. Also I love the third week or so of September in the park....so it seems we are flexible.
