Near Santa Fe, NM is Pecos National Historic Park. It combines both the Pecos Pueblo and Spanish Mission ruins and the nearby Glorietta Pass Battlefield. I find the Pecos Pueblo and Spanish Mission ruins much more interesting. We had been there before and had gotten some nice pics of the grounds, but this time I wanted something in particular. There is a kiva there that you are allowed to enter. Pretty neat experience if you've never been in one before.
