From I-80, take Exit 237. Head north on Hwy 283 into Lexington. Hwy 283 will turn into North Jackson Street. Turn left on 11th Street. The entrance to the park will be approximately 1 mile on your right.
As you walk toward the post you can stop and
enjoy the playground, or bring along a volleyball for a quick sand volleyball game.
Distance: 315 feet from northeast corner of parking lot
Surface: Paved path
Since it mentioned the volleyball court and playground, that's the direction we walked. The post was 315 ft. from the parking lot IF we would have walked the OTHER direction. As it was, we went about half a mile or a little more before we found it. Oh, well....
