We wondered why so many people were stopped to look at a small bison herd. I got out and saw the little head protruding and grabbed my camera. She delivered within a few minutes of me getting there. There were some tense moments and dead silence in the crowd while she removed the sac and the little fellow starting kicking. It took long enough for him to move that we were getting anxious. It was an amazing experience, and frankly changed my attitude about bison.
