Thanks for the comeback.

I can only imagine what went through that co-worker's mind. He may have mistakenly thought Carolyn might worry about "breaking a nail".

I remember when your sister moved from whatever routine job she originally had with Xanterra to the employee activity/recreation position. She was such a natural for that, and she thrived in the endeavor. Working for YAI is the next natural step in her evolution. I'm sure she will blow a few more minds over time.

Actually, now that I think about it, that male co-worker of Carolyn's might be on a scary learning curve. Many of the field researchers on the lynx study, including one of the leaders, were female. Close to half the cougar researchers in the WCS study were female, including Dr. Toni Ruth, who led the project. I went through a Wilderness First Responder refresher course at the Buffalo Ranch with a young woman who had done some seasonal rangering in Yellowstone. She was way attractive, but tough as nails. It turned out she had served in the IDF before moving to Yellowstone. (That's the Israeli Defense Force!)
