Hi, Loons! I know I haven't been here in awhile. Been a busy, busy summer for lots of reasons. Garden center season keeps me busy enough in a normal summer, but there is more going on this summer.
My daughter-in-law and granddaughter have been here with us since just before Mem. Day.
DIL was raised in a very dysfunctional family and that had a very negative effect on their earlier married years. She was verbally, emotionally and physically abusive toward Son. She has changed a lot over the past 2 years or so, but lots of damage was already done. He covered it all up and tried to live with it but it has all come out this summer. He's healing emotionally but their relationship needs LOTS of work.
They both want to work things out and try to get back to a healthy relationship. Please say a prayer for them. While it's been great having little Kayla here, I sure wish the circumstances were better.
Not sharing any of this on facebook cuz they are both there. I know Loon prayers are powerful :-)
