I wanted to share what we did on the 4th.

In the morning, we went to Stuhr Museum, our local Living History
Museum.

Grand Island grew around the railroad, and Stuhr honors it with
this steam engine. When we first moved here, you could get a ride
on the steam train around the museum property. There were several
expensive repairs that needed to be done, and the museum management
chose not to complete them. Instead, there is this stationary
display near the entrance of the museum.
