Based on trips to the North Platte area for softball tournaments years ago, when I lived in Colorado, I would say the climate around there is quite similar to other wine-growing regions of the planet, i.e. hot, with moderate humidity. Our players, who were spoiled by living in the dry mountain air, lived for the opportunity to hit the swimming pool. Us coaches had to play the heavy, and prohibit pool visits until all the day's games had been played. On a continuum of heat and humidity, I would place Boulder, Colorado on one end, Atlanta at the other, and North Platte in the approximate middle.

Those are some good-looking grapes. They appear to be thriving.
