This was one of the places the local lady directed us. Across the bridge.. turn right, then about 4 miles on a gravel road... turn right again... onto a dirt road.. well.. kind of. It was mostly a one lane track.. around a corn field.. and then to the river... She thought it would be interesting for us to see..

Years ago, the bank of the river was washing out.. so someone had the brilliant idea to stabilize it with car bodies. The engines and all the inner parts are gone.. just the bodies.
