I have a rather lengthy Labor Day weekend trip to share.

Hopefully you'll find some of it interesting.

Purpose of the trip was to get the rubbing at the 20th state
recreation area. However, I always have to add something
extra.

On the drive there, we stopped at several sites along the tour
route for the Mormon Trail or the Oregon Trail or Pony Express.
In some places, they were parallel to each other.. just on
opposite sides of the Platte.

Our first stop was at the airport in North Platte to see this
sign....
