If you've ever seen those little signs along the road that say "Auto Tour Route" and have a symbol like the Oregon Trail or Mormon Trail or Pony Express, you may not know that there are booklets for each state telling about sites along the way and places to stop. That's what I had... and we found several places to stop for a few minutes or longer.
