There's a trail up there (across main road, behind a pullout, and I backed out one year because it looked so steep but tried it the next year. Many others go up different hill which is off of trail to Fairy Falls. There were several footpaths up it, but the last time I did it I had to go higher because the trees were growing taller. This past year someone got killed when one of the old standing trees from '88 fire fell on him on a windy day.
