Do you want to work, or do you want to try all the things you were too busy working to do? How about more education? How's your health? Billings has several great medical facilities if that's an issue. B has several colleges and university extensions, museums, civic center, modest public transportation. Looked like a good selection of small older homes close to the center of town. Good shopping. The airport is right there and reliable. Parks, a zoo, and only an hour to the base of the mountains.
Have only been to Great Falls once or twice, sort of blew through town. Got blown in once by a winter storm. World-class museum there that I haven't got into yet. Resources probably more limited than Billings, but easier to get rural if that's what you're looking for. A river runs through it, but not the one in the movie.
