I had a spring trip planned, but my sister was dying so I had to cancel that one.
Rescheduled a fall trip and mom broke her leg the night before I was scheduled to leave. That one cost me $15 cancellation fee. The previous one was cancelled more than a month in advance, so no charge.
Sh*t happens.
Xanterra does require first night deposit when you make a resv.
