I have been visiting Yellowstone for over 25 years now and I can see the same exact resource damage from trails that have been beat down so bad from hikers for over 75 years now. I don't see any damage from those who have been in the water.

I didn't degrade his comments, heck I am one that thinks the park should be closed for at least ten years to let it recover from 125 years of exploitation by humans!

I just don't see paddling being as damaging as the rest of the activities that have been allowed in the park for over a century now.
