I'm very fond of Lake Marie at the top of the Snowies. Lake Marie is glacier fed and very cold. On the other side of the Snowy range is Saratoga. Many like Saratoga's Hobo pool if you want to go for a soak. While I haven't stayed there in ages, the Wolf Hotel used to be a quaint old West hotel. I also like the Wyoming Highway drive from Cheyenne to Laramie that is not the interstate. It goes back a bit more into the Veedauwoo area. In the Big Horn area, my husband and I went to the Sinks along the Popo Agie last year and then took the secondary road over to Rock Springs which was, for a ways anyway, surprisingly pretty.
