Only e-mailed him about a program Bozeman was hosting last week and again today regarding cancer research...focusing on the book about Henrietta Lacks and her HeLa cells. He and family were busy, so I didn't pester him.
What I wanted to ask you about...while cleaning out my mother's "stuff" we found a nice leather pencil cup with the Rutgers crest on it. Mom went to Rutgers for her MA back in 1963-64, and the cup was holding a rock crystal duck from the University of Oregon that was probably a wedding present. We have dealt with the duck (it's now part of a geocache where we placed her ashes in the Rogue River in Oregon last year, but the pencil holder still hangs on. Had we been thinking, it should have gone into the geocache too.) So, if you or someone else might be interested, I will happily send it on...otherwise, it goes to the recycle shop here in town.
