"Lots" of places in the park where you can get a reliable Verizon signal: waiting in line to use the vault toilet at the turn-off to Slough Creek road; Lake Butte, where I was once very startled to have my phone ring, having forgotten to put it into airplane mode (saves battery but can be used as a camera). Up there I had THE mos static-free cell phone conversation of my life. Most of the UGB. Mammoth, sometimes.
Capture from the old days when the USGS webcam was at Lake Butte. This was my best, but Chat Daddy once caught a beautiful ermine on that cam.
