shoot at iso 200-400, but won't hesitate to use higher if the situation demands it.
The night shots above were iso 3200. If I'm using a 500mm for wildlife, I'll use higher, like 800 - 1000.
My camera is 8 or 9 years old now and It will get noisy at higher iso's.
The way they keep improving the technology, I don't know if noise is even an issue with new cameras.
I keep thinking about buying a new, cheap dslr just for those situations where I do need to use a much higher iso.
