Hi from Tucson. We arrived on Saturday and were surprised by two very special
Loons. Greg & Ceri met us at the airport. We didn't think we would have the
chance to see them this trip but they were sneaky snd got our flight information
from our son. Loons really do rock. We arrived in Tucson and found our lodging.
Sbsolutely gorgeous. We couldn't be happier with the location and our little
casita. There are critters running all over the place. Immediately, we decided
that we wanted to build in extra time just to enjoy the ranch. On Sunday, we
hesded to the Sonora Desert Museum. Spent a few enjoyable hours there and
then headed back. topped to have a bite and then do some food shopping.
Yestrday, we headed to Saguaro National Park East. Did a short 2 mile hike and
that was enough. Last evening I received an upsetting message. My brother-in-
law was seriously injured at work. He broke his neck and I believe his sternum.
He was taken into surgery at 7 pm and the doctor came out at 1 am sbd said that
it was a bad break but the surgery had gone well. My heart is breaking for him,
my sister and their kids. Talk about feeling helpless being so far away. We
elected to just stay here at the ranch this morning. I think we are headed out
soon tfor a drive.
