Really aren't necessary for me. I don't need Black Bear. There's a few others. I'm about the photos, not the thrill of the jeep ride. Plus, I use my own vehicle and that thing has to get me home.
I took Lower Engineer back down to Ouray one time. Engineer and Cinnamon Passes are the alpine loop between Animas Forks and Lake City. Lower Engineer is just a spur trail back to Ouray. I left my spare tire out there somewhere on L.E. It hangs below my pickup. Tore it off on one of those bumps. Truck started sounding pretty loud after that too. Had to replace the entire exhaust system when I got home.
ATVs are the thing out there now. Lot's of rental places. That's a better way to go, but they are tearing up some of the trails now making it much more difficult for jeeps
