I heard from one of my sisters today. Although he's in a lot of pain, he seems to
be a very lucky man. They had him sitting up in a chair for a bit. He will get a
custom neck brace tomorrow which is good because the one he has now is very
uncomfortable. Over the counter pain meds didn't cut it, so he is back on an IV
for that. Sounds like a long road ahead. Thank you all for your prayers.
Now, as for Tucson. We stayed put yesterday until later in the afternoon. We
then drove up to Mt. Lemmon. It was pretty hazy but still enjoyable. Missed the
sunset though. We ended a bit too soon. That's okay because we got back to the
ranch and saw a new critter in the yard. A bobcat! Walked right across the front
yard. This place is amazing. Today we headed over to Saguaro Natl Pk West. Did
the super easy walk to the petroglyphs. Pretty cool stuff. From there, we headed
down to Mission San Xavier Del Bac. We arrived just in time for a narrated tour.
We then went back in the church and lit a candle for Steve and family. Such a
beautiful place. Did a little shopping in the gift shop, bought some indian fry
bread and are now back at our prety little casita.
