We soon heard where the action was. This is near Petrified Tree, looking down towards Yancey's. There was a carcass in the gap in the trees and the group of four (755, 911 +2) were active on the hill behind. When the other three left, 755 went down to the carcass and a coyote departed quickly. The Junction Butte Pack was visible out in the distance. To top it off, Carolyn spotted a large Grizzly in the distance; the first known sighting of the season on the northern range. Wohoo!!!
