With all of the negativity in the USA these days I find it sad that you continue to dwell on the same negative things in your posts.

Yes, Yellowstone has changed and some of those changes are certainly not positive, no matter how you look at them. Increased visitation always stresses the ability of the NPS to accommodate visitors and the demographics of park visitors and when they visit has changed dramatically.

My annual 2 week fall trip to the park was filled with amazing experiences and hikes. I met old friends and made new ones. I have great memories of some really special moments.

Were there any things different from 10 or 15 years ago that I wish were not so? You bet, lots of them.

But that's the reality now and with the choice of not going to my favorite place in the world or dealing with the visitor challenges without getting grumpy, I choose to remain positive and make every visit a special one.

Change is inevitable; coping with it takes effort and a positive attitude. I hope you can move on.
