He's been using other cars, equally distinctive.
And as I noted, he's not gone by any means. He has, however, suffered a couple of major illnesses (all fixed now so far as I know) over the last couple of years, so even he will not last forever.
He's educated thousands of visitors and shared his scope with at least as many to add greatly to their experience in the park. He's also recorded massive amounts of information on wolf behavior. It would be ideal if he or someone could digitize those data so some use could made of them by scientists. I think that was part of the plan for his post-working years but so far I'm not sure it's gotten underway.
While "things" change, the wolves go about their lives, oblivious.
