Is it possible to miss someone you never actually met in person? Yes, as it turns out, it is. Bonnie was an online friend that I got to know through her posts on this page and especially through many evening conversations with her and other Loons in Fixleak's chatroom. I appreciated her humor and her honesty and her love for all things Yellowstone (especially bears!). Bonnie didn't suffer fools lightly, and if she thought someone was behaving outrageously she called them on it, whether it was an inconsiderate Yellowstone tourist or the President of the United States. Feisty and fair, what you saw was what you got with Bonnie Bowne. Thank you for all the laughs and so many good memories, friend - we were never in the park at the same time so we never got to meet, but I knew you just the same. And I miss you. A lot. Love, Gail
