I'm currently booked with overnight accommodations in the park from September 1 through the 13th. But a serious foot injury has me still not walking long distances yet after 5 weeks in a walking boot and no driving.

So I'll monitor my progress and remain hopeful that the trip will still happen. I won't go if I cant hike at least 4-5 miles a day.

If do I go, geyser expert Rocco Paperiello will join me for at least part of the two weeks.

I'll decide just before the 30-day window to cancel so I don't lose my deposits.
