It will be permanent unless I lose a lot of weight and get both knees replaced. It seems a daunting task. Nothing worth fighting for is easy, I guess. I'm getting injections in my knees 7/28/23. You have no idea how terrified I am of needles!
Yes, mom finally gets her first PT today. Been waiting 2 months! But they want to do injections in her back. Her problem is two fold. Legs & back. I know I'm going to get a lot of flack for this...but mom had no problems until 3 days after the second Shingrix vaccine. She got shingles, then started falling, difficulty walking or standing up straight. It's hard to watch. Her symptoms seem to point to MS or guillian Barre. It's devastating. No doctors can figure it out. She's had MRI's, electrodes in her thighs to measure muscle stuff. She's seen spine doctor & orthopedics now more times than I can count.
