The problem with your apostrophe example is you didn t leave a space where one should be. You need to at least have the anti-apostrophe respect to recognize one should be there. Here s your example sentence:
"Heres a sentence that doesnt contain..."
A true non-apostropher would write this as:
"Here s a sentence that doesn t contain..."
That way you acknowledge that you know one should be there but won t conform to the Grammar Man. Plus you still get credit for the character counts using a space.
I love vomiting my boys straight out of the car with gay abandon. Sure we startle a chipmunk now and then, but so does a coyote or an eagle or a European with an 18mm lens trying to get a close-up. And the reference to bull-dozing Sheapeater Cliffs? Well, Yellowstone needs more parking areas and pullouts for the tripodders so it s not a bad idear. Plus, by the name, sounds like those cliffs eat sheep and I like sheep. Especially lamb chops.
Whatever Paul s issue here, it sure cost Photodude a lot of $$.
I take more stills photos than ever before, with my iPhone. The best camera is the one you can t afford, or the one in your pocket that's not even a real camera. And I used an apostrophe there because I like to tick people off on both sides of any issue.
"I'm just another ugly guy trying my best to follow the park rules. What would you call that?"
A thinly disguised square Ugly American.
ND, c'mon man, see Paul, be like Paul. Don't vomit, don't breed, don't abandon in a gay way, buy a 1200mm lens and god-forbit don't leave the pullouts. And don t make eye contact with a marmot.
