Entrance fees and campground fees are not too high for you and me but I think of those who struggle. It s who I am. It s their land, public land, just as much as it is any other Americans. We can afford to visit lands our relatives died for, they are priced out of it and it s only getting worse. It wasn t always this way, I know because I m old and have been hiking, backpacking, exploring, and camping in American wild places for more decades than I like to admit.
