This place was happenin ! And fun! The unlimited ice-cream bars and
pizza buffets! The 28 SD TV in the basement. The low flush toilets
always clogged. The life sized Fairyland Phallic Cone in the lobby.
The grainy 6 mural on the wall of Dan M. riding a bison off the Old
Faithful boardwalk. Charles running out in the Lamar and taking a
wolf pup home. Jim S. hiking in a portable cell tower to Fairyland.
Photodude taking that one pic we all loved. JohnD caught slapping
Power Bait on a fly on The Firehole not seeing the hidden trail cam
next to him. Good times. And the Loon sleuth, tracking IP s, revealed
that ND was actually from SD. And how shocked we were when we found
out Lone Eagle Woman got her name from hiking a shotgun into the
Thorofare and shooting eagles and only leaving one? What about Doug
Dance purposefully hitting moose and elk calves at night and dragging
them strategically in the forest to get those amazing sunrise wolf
pics on a fresh kill. They were good shots though. I could go on and
on, yep, I miss the old days.
