A stoic wilderness man of adventure and conservation. He not only acted the part, but looked the part. But it wasn't fictional acting. It ran through his blood. He reminded me of Galen Clark, known as the Guardian of Yosemite, late 1800s through early 1900s. Galen's Yosemite and Big Trees passion reminded me of Bud's Glacier NP and grizzlies passion.

In fact it might be a good idea to do a professionally done documentary on Bud's contributions, those are the kinds of stories I'm looking for.
