Planning started in 2024. There were lunches, and hikes and campfire gatherings in the works, but by the time the dates for the Loonion came in 2025, we were in full-on moving mode. Sucky timing on our part. Some Loons made the trek, but I don't know if any of them connected with each other. We spent the first Loonion weekend stuck in Little Rock, AR, with a broken serpentine belt on our beater RV. The next Loonion weeken we were camping on our friends' driveway in Spring Hill TN.
