They don't want any downstream molten crap. Plus the potential lava splash-back when squatting and dropping is a health hazard. The nice thing is you can toss your toilet paper in the flows. Packing out feces only applies to the human species. After wiping, "if it's white, use it twice. If it's brown, throw in the flow." It's an awkward slogan but that's what the regulations say.
