but from a baseball sense. I'm a lifelong Cubs fan since my parents first got cable TV back in the 80's and one of the channels was WGN. Actually literally cried when Harry Caray died.

I must say though, I am more hopeful than ever this year due to what Theo Epstein is doing with the organization.
