this is hard, isn't it. My prayer for your family is that finally and soon your son can feel the peace of knowing you love him and you love the children so much. May he know how important it is to nurture these children as only grandparents can.....it's pretty special. Ballpark gave you some very touching pointers on how these things work out.
The stress for you concerns me. I don't know if this will help, but on occasion when our daughter was so difficult I found that if we could somehow think of her as a little less closely related.....like a niece or cousin....it would provide a cushion and let us move a bit away temporarily for a little calming of ur hearts. Make sure you get enough rest, my dear.
