used to suffer from the same malady! Not me....I can take all day to drive 50 miles and collect all sorts of stuff along the way. However, all that has changed. We now have a trailer and 2 dogs, so we hardly pass up many wayside rest areas and we are content when we find a nice clean RV park, even if it is only 3pm! You could always go north and cross through Canada and then head south.....I know, that sounds like a plan for way in the future!
