I've seen kayaks down at West Thumb and on the Lewis Channel and I knew a worker who put her kayaks in the lake from Lake Village. The marina had rowboats for rent. Maybe they're wanting to add areas where they're allowed? In the last two years two persons on inner tubes lost their lives when they got swept down the powerful Yellowstone River.
