A fond memory I have of Lew is when we met for the first time in Yellowstone for the first Loonion. We saw a car coming down the hill toward Rescue creek with their yellow Loon flag flying. We also had the Loon flag on our rig, and we all pulled in to see who the other was. Hugs and laughter abounded that morning, and we met Lew and Deb. So fun! Though we had come to know them on the internet, this was our first in-person contact. How exciting it was to meet them in person. We stayed in touch over the years and followed the challenges Lew had with illnesses and house damage from a storm, etc., and how he fought though it with a sense of humor. Lew and Deb were a dynamite team, and our heart goes out to her in the loss of her life partner. Lew was a presence in the Loon community, and he will be missed. {{{{{{Love and many hugs of comfort, Deb.}}}}}}}}}}}
