aka, recharge area.
After some quick and sloppy research, I found out about a couple of our larger springs.
At Bennett spring, 81M gal/day, the recharge area is 265 square miles.
At Big Spring, 280M gal/day, they put some dye in a losing stream 40 miles away. 16 days later, it showed up in Big Spring.
Losing stream = it loses water into cracks and fissures in the karst.
