Sits on the peak of a neighbor's roof; when I first discovered it, the year we bought out here (2014), the view was a spectacular clear shot of the Bridgers; the lots on front of it remained empty until last summer, when the gray and white behemoth sprang up. The view of the mountains is just OK now. You say that the links will be removed, but perhaps the webcams will still be accessible as long as you have the link??
Our neighbor takes care to keep his cam running, but I would bet a lot of cams are more or less ignored when they go down, making it an embarrassing pain for WU to deal with hundreds if not thousands of dead links.
