In 2017 I photographed a nanny Mountain Goat on the cliff next to the area of the Raven Nest on the pull off going into Swan Lake prairie. The nanny had one kidd and both were healthy and content. I believe this area is called the Golden Gate? The day was very cold (41 degrees) and breezy (about 35 mph winds) and the shoot lasted about 1 hour with frequent ingress and egress to a warm auto. This marks the farthest west I have ever encountered Mountain Goats in YNP.
