Attend the 2018 Montana Grizzly Encounter's fund-raiser gala to practice with inert spray and a "speeding grizzly" at UDAP's tent. The galas are usually in August.

Or, rent spray at the kiosk by the visitor center at Canyon where you will also be given a chance to try out inert spray before setting out into bear country.
