Yellowstone Forever raised a lot of donations from corporations, however, the CEO, Heather White, was a visionary and the board of directors supported her visions and aspirations by approving the borrowing of millions. Somehow projected revenues to pay back the loans did not materialize. In response, among other very distasteful things (such as laying off a lot of dedicated, experienced staff), tuition for the Institute tripled, and while even that did not buoy dollar flow it did succeed in disenfranchising numerous donors and would-be attendees who, whether or not they could afford it, were disgusted by the elitism it engendered.
I have my own quibbles with the way YF has been run, but it's devastating that the main arm of their education mission has been deep-sixed. If the whole shootin' match goes bankrupt, that will mean hundreds of thousands of dollars lost to extremely important programs like the removal of invasive lake trout from the lake.
Bad, sad business all around.
