Somebody posted this info on Facebook...I don't know how accurate it is: "FYI...
02/22/21: Hot off the press! We have some info on what will not be open this summer in Yellowstone. Here is the condensed version:
Campgrounds closed for the summer:
Fishing Bridge
Tower Falls, including the General Store will open on June 25th. The parking lot will be under construction large vehicles are not advised. The road will remain closed all summer from Tower Falls to Canyon, the trails to Mt Washburn will also remain closed.
The East Wing of the Old Faithful Inn will be open, along with the Gift Shop and Deli for to go orders only. The Snowlodge dining room will be to go only as well. At this time the Snowlodge is expected to open next winter. The Roosevelt Lodge will be open for day use only, take out food with no lodging.
In Canyon, the Dining Room, Ice Creamery and Falls Cafe will be closed for the summer. In Grant the Lake House Restaurant will be closed as well.
It is not clear, but appears the Lake Hotel dinging room will be closed, with the deli open for take out only. The Lake Lodge Cafeteria was not mentioned either.
The Boiling River and Firehole River swimming areas will remain closed this summer.
Keep in mind we are expecting record visitation, and there will NOT be a full staff again this year due to housing (no roommates). Everything else is scheduled to open." I would think that the only reason why Roosevelt (cabins) would be closed would be because of the shared toilet/shower facilities.
