I have been reading both series lately - well, listening to the audiobooks - and you did a really good job of making both halves fit in the frame that their respective authors created. I stayed up late when I found it last night and read it beginning to end. Well done.
I had just said to myself yesterday, these two characters should be in a story together. Got to my hotel last night, googled it, found your story, the end. Thanks!
