You seem very knowledgeable about the canyon. Have you hiked it before?
From what I have seen the formerly called Indian Garden, now named Havasupai Gardens, is very beautiful. Still a grueling 9 mile round-trip. I see from the Gardens there is a spur trail about a mile and a half to Plateau Point. It looks to have excellent views. I have a question. How difficult was it to get your backcountry permit?
