A little story, funny or maybe not.
We went for our 4 mile walk this morning in the neighborhood. On
the way back, Lynn needs a potty break. We are about 3 blocks
from home and there are port-a-potty's, 4 of them
lined up on the side of the street. They are for the Flying Pig
Marathon this Sunday, big marathon with 1000's of folks. So Lynn
goes in one and I cross the street. About the time I am
half way across the street there is a loud crash. The potty had
tipped over into the street right onto the door. Fortunately,
there was a runner who immediately, with my help, rolled the
potty over and Lynn crawled out. Lots of blue fluid came sloshing
out with him. He was drenched in it. Lynn was sort of dizzy for a
little while - he had hit his head a bit and I suppose it makes you
dizzy to tip over suddenly with no horizon line and no expectation.
The runner called a friend who lived around the corner; they
brought Lynn a glass of water, worried about him and offered a
ride. Lynn is fine now. We walked home and I can tell you he was
perfumed. The runner kept saying thank goodness the potty hadn't
been used yet! I am not so sure about that part but I couldn't
smell anything but the disinfectant.
Lynn went straight to the basement, stripped and tossed all in the
washer.
It is a little funny to me but not to Lynn. You just never know
what might happen - Lynn says he is going to be careful with
potty's from now on. Ha!!
